Who are you:
Experience with our target group is an advantage, but certainly not a must;
Completed MBO level 4 (Specialized);
Pedagogical employee;
Completed HBO education relevant to the field of Pedagogy or Psychology, for example;
Passion for care and being able to guide children and provide support in coaching them to achieve maximum independence and self-reliance;
Team player, caring and adaptable;
You are flexible and looking forward to a challenging job;
Good social and communication skills are one of your strengths;
You speak at least Dutch level A2

Salary indication: € 2338 and € 3535 gross per month for full-time employment (based on 36 hours);
Your exact salary will depend on your knowledge and experience.
A fixed-term contract, if proven suitable, we are happy to convert it to an indefinite period;
A working week of 24 – 36 hours per week;
144 hours of leave (on a full-time basis) and 57 hours of additional time off in the form of balance hours;
8% holiday allowance and an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%;

What will you do:
As a supportive group facilitator, you encourage students to develop self-reliance by empowering and motivating them to use their strengths within the group context and in pursuing individual goals. You prepare the group activities and ensure that they are ready every day. You ensure the group room is completely prepared and tidy for the next day.
Where will you be working:
We, SAMA Autism Center are a new organization to be founded and are looking for adventurers just like us. SAMA Autism Center treats and supports children from 3 to 12 years old with autism and related disorders. The center will open its doors in the spring of 2024 in beautiful Amstelveen.
